NYFW -Day 2| Fall/Winter 2017 Hakan Akkaya
Uno de los shows que más impacto tuvo desde el apagón inicial, hasta la caminata final, fue sin lugar a dudas la del diseñador Hakan Akkaya, quien lleva 16 años en la industria de la moda y que hizo vibrar intensamente la pasarela del Skylight Clarkson Square en la gran manzana.
Respecto a mi outfit, decidí apostar por una propuesta un poco más Boho, unos palazzo estampados y un cable sweater fueron la dupla perfecta para lograr el estilo relajado, pero a la vez chic que estaba buscando. Una bike en color vino, y repetí por qué no? la boina negra. El complemento especial para este atuendo, fue un collar elaborado con semillas de Huayruro, de la diseñadora peruana Evelyn Brooks.
Las que siguieron mi paso por la semana de la moda, deben recordar que usé varias de sus creaciones y que por supuesto les estaré mostrando próximamente aquí en el Blog. Un bolso de mano en color vino de la firma Coach, y sandalias en color negro, si..., sandalias en invierno, pero aunque en las fotos no se puede apreciar, las usé con calcetines en color negro, de esos gruesos que calientan hasta la conciencia. Unos lentes polarizados de esos que tanto me apasionan y lista para vivir una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida.

One of the shows that had the biggest impact from the initial blackout to the final walk was undoubtedly this from designer Hakan Akkaya, who has been in the fashion industry for 16 years and made vibrate the Skylight Clarkson Square at the Big Apple.
Regarding my outfit, I decided to bet on a proposal a bit more Boho, a printed palazzo and a cable sweater were the perfect match to achieve the relaxed but at the same time chic style I was looking for. A wine biker, and (repeated why not?) a black beret. The special accessory for this outfit was a necklace made with seeds of Huayruro, by Peruvian designer Evelyn Brooks. Those who followed my way through fashion week, should remember that I used several of her creations and of course I will be showing them here in the Blog. A wine handbag from Coach and black sandals, yes! ..., sandals in winter, but although in the photos you can not see, I used them with black socks, those coarse warming ones. Polarized shades, those that I am so passionate about and ready to live one of the best experiences of my life.

Con una propuesta monocromática en negro y blanco, Hakan Akkaya presentó más que un desfile, un espectáculo en el total sentido de la palabra. Un show que promete vestir a hombres y mujeres que viven en libertad y que si aún no la han encontrado les motiva a través de sus sueños a romper con sus miedos y extender las alas para volar. Los modelos iban y venían como si se tratase de un encuentro fuerte, intenso y decisivo entre lo que somos y lo que deseamos ser. Inspirando en todo momento a vivir de forma libre, expresando nuestra opinión, sin importar la religión, la raza o el sexo. En una época en la que el mundo adolece una crisis en todas las áreas de la vida, pude escuchar la música del corazón de Hakan Akkaya, que nos invitaba a través de su arte, a respetar, romper cadenas y vivir en completa libertad.
Si tuviera que elegir un show para congelar el tiempo durante New York Fashion esta temporada, es sin lugar a dudas este.

With a monochromatic proposal in black and white, Hakan Akkaya presented more than a runway, it was a show in the full sense of the word. A show that promises to dress men and women who live in freedom and that if they have not yet found themselves, it motivates them through their dreams to break the fears and spread the wings to fly. The models came and went as if it were a strong, intense and decisive encounter between what we are and what we want to be. Inspiring at all times to live free, expressing our opinion, regardless of religion, race or sex. At a time when the world suffers a crisis in all areas of life, I was able to listen to the music of the heart of Hakan Akkaya, who invited us through his art, to respect, to break chains and to live in complete freedom.
If I had to choose a show to freeze time during New York Fashion this season, without a doubt this is the one.
