Cotton with a Conscience

Septiembre es sin lugar a dudas mi mes favorito del año, no sólo porque arranca con la semana de la moda, es el mes en el cual le damos la bienvenida al Otoño, y también en este mes celebro mi cumpleaños. Por ello, este año me he unido a prAna, una firma amiga de mi blog, para celebrar la transición de temporadas y mi cumpleaños creando conciencia sobre lo importante que es amar y respetar el Medio Ambiente. Y cómo a través de la ropa que usamos a diario podemos aportar un granito de arena a la causa.

September is without a doubt my favorite month of the year, not only because it starts with fashion week, it is the month in which we welcome Autumn, and also in this month I celebrate my birthday. Therefore, this year I have joined prAna, a friend brand of my blog, to celebrate the transition of seasons and my birthday by raising awareness to the importance of love and respect the environment. And how through the clothes that we use daily we can contribute to the cause.

De Mi Outfit
Para mi propuesta de hoy, quise armar un outfit sencillo, pero como siempre que tenga detalles que lo hagan especial. En este caso, llevo el Percy Top, una franela de cuadros en el color Equinox Blue. Llevar cuadros es una de las tendencias más imponentes de la temporada, esta franela ha sido fabricada cien por ciento con algodón orgánico y es ideal para usar con jeans, con faldas o incluso para hacer capas.
Estoy combinando la franela con los Oday Jean, y debo decirles que amo la forma como se ajustan a mi cuerpo y como me ayudan a potenciar la figura. Los míos los elegí en el color Indigo y se han vuelto mis favoritos. Son cómodos de llevar y es muy fácil combinarlos.
Para complementar el look, estoy usando unos botines en color nude y mis gafas de sol favoritas. Es tiempo de despedir el Verano y darle la bienvenida al Otoño. Y por supuesto, yo celebro un año más de vida, usando prendas que han sido elaboradas respetando y cuidando el medio ambiente.

For today, I wanted to put together a simple outfit, but with details that make it special. In this case, I wear the Percy Top, a plaid flannel in the color Equinox Blue. Carrying tartan is one of the top trends of the season, this flannel has been made one hundred percent with organic cotton and is ideal to use with jeans, skirts or even to create layers.
I am combining the flannel with the Oday Jean, and I must tell you that I love the way they fit my body and how they help to strengthen my figure. I chose the Indigo color and they have become my favorites. They are comfortable to wear and very easy to combine them.
To complement the look, I'm wearing nude ankle boots and my favorite sunglasses. It's time to say goodbye to Summer and welcome Autumn. And of course, I celebrate one more year of life, wearing clothes that have been made respecting and taking care of the environment.
